have you opted to use day/month/year for this forum???
whenever i see 9/10/08 i immediately think september 10th.
kinda confused why it's not month/day/year since we're all, to the best of my knowledge, living in america.

liam, how do YOU tell somebody a date if you are speaking to somebody in person? I would say... "hey susie, it's October 11th, 2008. so if you think m/d/y is silly, i am super curious as to how you would say d/m/year to somebody in person.
juli, nobody is complaining. can a girl be curious? lol
Puddin Taine
11-10-2008, 02:03 PM
I don't talk to people in person...
but d/m/y goes from smallest (days) to biggest (years), not mumbo jumbo'ed like m/d/y

allllright. well since you're a mute, i'll guess those who use d/m/y format might say... "it's day 11 of october, 2008" or "let's go watch a movie on the 16th day of october".
I suggest changing the time to 24hours also

And as a Britisher I like it! :D:thumbup:

This is Liam's way of sticking it to America. He saw that option when he was setting up the server and was like "I'll make it d/m/y take THAT Americans!"

Funny, it was after I traveled around to a few different countries and lived overseas in Europe for a few years that I developed a major distaste for America..

we'd say it's the 11th of October, 2008. d/m/y is more logical than m/d/y, which to my knowledge is only used in the US.
