View Full Version : I just cut an assist or something like that off my dog.

I've noticed it for a while, but I thought it was a mole. I kinda squeezed it and I felt something come out. I took her into the light and went to town on it w/ some surgical scissors, peroxide and a gauze. She layed real still I guess cause she trusts me. Felt bad, but I'm glad I got it off her. :angry:

Well i just "popped" it like a pimple then kinda... turned it inside out and cut all the crap out of it. It might not of been a cyst, but what ever it was I got rid of it.

My parents raised GSDs for 15 years. You don't have to run to the Vet every time you think you might have something wrong w/ your dog. She will be fine, If it comes back i'll take her in.

Yeah, I knew it was wrong. Just could not think of the right way.

BTW it was not "puss" like it was pretty thick and dry :)
